·art festivals and travel destinations· really hot art galleries and stuff. one of the f**ing COOLEST exhibitions ive seen in a long time was in july 99 at the Grahamstown Art festival, there was this exhibition by Tony Swift.. WOW, please lemme know if you know where I can get copies or photos of his paintings.. I walked into this room and for the 1st time in my life i wonderered, WOW, why havent I ever seen anything like this?? Wow.. yeah, all these kinda simple yet in a way with quite subtle underlying imagery and messages in the paintings.. and a lot of cool realist abstract stuff.
