On-Line Guitar Archive (OLGA) olga.zig.co / OLGA rogue sites On-Line Guitar Archive. Tablature to lots of
songs. Lemme give you a big helpful hint though. Most of these
tablatures were put up here by people who're probably more
tone-deaf than you. Practice a lot and after a year or ten
there'll be few tricks you cant pull on guitar. Unless, of
course, you're aiming at world-fame. In that case.. go attempt
suicide a few times first. And when you've realised either how
patetic you are, or how much you really want to live... write a
song about it. Do this for 10 years before you bother the world
with it.

desolation.. hope... depthless sorrow... pain.. and joy.. wow..
morcheeba more trip-hop, soothing..
uplifting, mind-altering stuff :)
bjork never liked her.. until i listened
it enough...quite great!
dorp the best ska band in the
world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... or.. used to be.... WHERE ARE YOU
PEOPLE???
delta blue well, since dorp deserted us, and garage
closed, ive lately only gone out when these guys gig. and i
really really REALLY love em and think theyre just plain GREAT.
they released their first CD last week (August 99), really worth
checking out if you can appreciate some new FUCKING hot
south-african-style-blues...
lithium south african rock at its best,
specially their last recordings.. pity they split up :( i'll
never forget the last gig.. started putting some trippy-rock
sounds to their songs... well.. the gods of the
SA-post-grunge-era.
sons of trout wow, quite an ass-kicking ska-ish
punk-ish vibey south african band. Love em!!!! O YEAH!!
nofx lots of punk rock.. plus kiff reggae
tracks......
heather nova really dreamy lyrics... but
it can grow on you.. but... how much of it can be shared... Oh...
alice in chains The solo in Nutshell..
their lyrics.. brilliant. veeery laid back..
jimi hendrix wow, what couldn't he do on
a guitar? Fuckit. The last guy who wrote really BRILLIANT lyrics.
led zeppelin no quarter, d'yer maker,
solo part in 'in the evening', gosh, so far ahead of their time..
WOW!
silverchair love em! great band live!!
And oh-so-grunge...
nirvana whatever... THEY RULE!!!!
immortal, surreal, futile, grunge LIVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(ever thought of the fact that they introduced the idea of a
hidden track? and the idea of "unplugged" gigs for
heavier bands?) People who idolise people are murderers. Of
themselves and of others. Idolisation is not a good thing. Unless
it is of some intangible thing. Can't touch yourself.
foo fighters seen em live too much.. kewl
lil band. only one or two fun songs, though... one or two great
songs.. Playful grunge gone... well...
some-diverse-sugar-pop-rock.
black sabbath pretty versatile.. old old
old.. (ozzy ozbourne has got a catchy
tune or two.. mostly in eighties style electronic-rock mixed with
vintage rock)
rodrigues timeless, graceful guy... wow,
fucking brilliant lyrics too. This is a guy to respect.
the doors im sure heres a lot i havent
yet caught... except death.. and sex.. and excess.
deftones the only metal band with style
in my opinion, very surreal yet simple lyrics..
korn weird therapy, very powerful and
deep and dark.. 1st album was the best i reckon the others are
only good.. this guy gets out stuff that a lot of people live
with all their lives, stuff that destroys you if you cant.. of
course you could completely misunderstand them.. and probably
will.

All these bands, and more... have had me crazy about them at some point in my life. And I could still find what I like most about them.... from drum-'n-bass to trip-hop... rock.. and metal.. Theyve all got their really tranquil songs... and murder and mayhem. None of it soppy though. Neither commercial.
If you feel like rating these bands... do so and mail it to me. I'll put it up here.
